I read or listened to a total of 36 books in 2011 and thoroughly enjoyed most of them. Sure, there were a few duds in the mix (I'm looking at you Freedom) but overall, assembling this year's list of Best Books hasn't been an easy task.
In fact many books were loved so equally, I wasn't sure I could choose a favorite. It's safe to say that my Top 10 for 2011 are ALL must reads. I can guarantee unequivocal satisfaction!

Thank you for blogging about your books! I have read a couple of books now that you recommended (thank you so much for recommending the Paris Wife, I LOVED that one!).
I will definitely be adding these to my list! the only one i've read on your list is The Glass Castle which I read several years ago...absolutely one of my favorite books ever!
Happy New Year!
I have The Glass Castle on my bookshelf, just can't seem to get to it. Now I will! I love your list and a few of my faves are on it too. Happy New Year Holli!
It looks like I need to get East Eden and True Grit on the list. I love it that I have been able to read and talk to you about several of these books this year. Let's do it again!! More joint books with Holli, please!!
